We are pleased to announce that Zymeworks has received Life Sciences BC’s 2025 Company of the Year Award! The award is presented to an outstanding company for its leadership and achievements that are significantly strengthening the BC life sciences sector. It recognizes strong overall performance, excellent execution of business strategies, effective leadership following a clear vision, and active contribution to BC’s life sciences ecosystem.
The win was announced by Life Sciences BC today and award winners will be recognized in person at the 27th Annual Life Sciences BC Awards Gala on October 2, 2025, in Vancouver.
“Being named Life Science s BC’s 2025 Company of the Year is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the commitment to scientific innovation and collaboration here at Zymeworks,” said Dr. Paul Moore, Chief Scientific Officer at Zymeworks. “Over the past year, we have seen the true impact of our world-class R&D engine on patients with limited treatment options, including the FDA approval of zanidatamab as the first HER2-targeted bispecific antibody for HER2-positive biliary tract cancer. This milestone would not have been possible without our team’s exemplary scientific expertise, and we are proud that innovation developed here in British Columbia is helping to deliver novel therapies to patients around the world, who inspire our work each day.”
