Zymeworks Chief People Officer Speaks with Life Science Leader About Company Initiatives Designed to Meet Evolving Needs of Its People

Kathy O’Driscoll, Zymeworks Chief People Officer, recently spoke with Life Science Leader magazine about the importance of continuously evaluating the evolving well-being needs of its people, and fostering a culture and offering programs that meet their needs.  Over the past several years, Zymeworks has launched several unique initiatives, including a support group for employees who are experiencing grief/loss or facing a life-threatening illness; a goal-setting and coaching program that replaced the company’s former performance management system; the Women’s Initiative at Zymeworks, that addresses the unique challenges affecting women in science; and a couple exceptional benefits that are greatly appreciated by Zymeworks’ people.
